line-up of east coast bands and comedians in a kind of Hey Hey It's
Saturday style night for burgeoning hipster trio The Basics launching
their debut album with support from Spargo, Emma Heeney, Little
Red and Tokenview.

are back to the classic haunt; The Empress (North Fitzroy) with
a 3 week series of gigs on Saturday nights late Feb into March.
And on the 16th Feb, Spargo team up with The Basics (for their single

OZCO SENDS SPARGO NORTH FOR THE WINTER

Australian Council for the Arts have shown their support for Spargo's
upcoming UK tour by awarding the band an International Pathways
Grant to the tune of $16,400! This will cover travel and insurance
expenses, and as you can imagine the band is very appreciative...
